• The CTCB-I Cleanroom Testing training course

Many people working in cleanrooms have knowledge and expertise to be a CTCB-I Professional (tester/certifier) or Associate (operator/user)  but may wish to prove this by a certificate obtained through a respected teaching institute. The Cleanroom Testing and Certification Board – International (CTCB-I) provides educational courses and awards certificates through training and formal examination.

  • CTCB-I is an independent committee-led group with membership from contamination control societies in countries such as UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Scandinavia and Turkey and offers training courses in Cleanroom Technology and Cleanroom Testing. The CCN provides these courses in the UK and endorses the programmes of the CTCB-I to delegates attending from many countries where certification is essential or an advantage.
  • The Cleanroom Testing programme offers both Professional and Associate certificates, for those who do the practical testing and certification of cleanrooms and those that manage cleanrooms or cleanroom operations. All certificates require a successful theory exam result, whilst the Professional delegates must also pass practical exams in airflow measurement, HEPA filter testing and particle counting.
  • Professional delegates receive a 5 year certification after which they should re-accredit to demonstrate continued knowledge and expertise, whilst the Associate certificate does not expire.
