In Honour of John Neiger, who passed away on 20th November 2024

John was an avid and supportive founding member of our CCN, as well as the Editor of Clean Air and Containment Review (CACR) for 52 editions over more than 10 years (issue No. 53 was in progress, and Euromed intends to publish it). He was a committed member of our BSI committee and contributed so much more throughout his long career in the contamination control industry. He will always be remembered and deeply missed!

The spheres of interest include the design, control, testing and operation of cleanrooms, containment systems, operating theatres, isolation rooms, clean air devices, isolators, restricted access barrier systems (RABS), biosafety cabinets (BSCs/MSCs), local exhaust ventilation systems (LEVs), fume-hoods, instruments, garments and consumables.

The main sectors in which these systems and equipment are used are pharmaceutical/life-sciences, research, hospital, medical device, food, industrial, technology and nuclear.
